What is textalert?
textalert
is an online system for small businesses who wish to keep in contact with their
customers by text message.
textalert
is run by Zen Marketing Ltd, who are a UK company based in London. The founder members of Zen Marketing Ltd.
have a worked in mobile marketing for many years with small businesses like
yours sending out text messages on their behalf. textalert was
created to give businesses
the chance to easily manage and send text messages to their customers without
having to employ a specialist (and expensive) mobile marketing company.
How does textalert work?
textalert
has been designed to be as simple as possible for you to use, with advanced
features available when you require them.
Sending a message to your
customers is a simple process:
- Collect (with their permission – see below)
customer names and mobile numbers
- Enter them into the textalert address book
- Buy the correct amount of credits to send the
messages
- Write a message
- Pick who you want to send it to – either to
everyone, or using our advanced filtering function to select people
- Press Send

What do I need to use textalert?
As textalert is an online
system, you only need to be able to connect to the internet. Currently, Textalert is best viewed from a
PC using Internet Explorer version 5 or above, and we are adding support for
other browsers all the time.
